Fleet Manager at SERVPRO Team Wilson

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Fleet Manager at SERVPRO Team Wilson, you will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient management and operations of our company's vehicle fleet. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize fleet performance, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and control costs. Your role will involve various tasks, including:

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient management of company vehicles and equipment, spanning cars, trucks, vans, and drying equipment.
  • Oversee acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate regular maintenance schedules and inspections for fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage repair and service activities, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and minimizing vehicle downtime.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry standards related to fleet management, vehicle safety, emissions, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure fleet operations comply with all legal requirements, such as licensing, registration, insurance, and inspections.
  • Utilize fleet management software and technology to track vehicle location, performance, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics for optimizing routes, improving fuel efficiency, and reducing operational costs.
Position Requirement:
 
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/lift/carry objects.
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check subject to applicable law.
